Jonathan H. Turner is 38th University Professor of the University of California and Distinguished Professor of the Graduate Division at University of California, Riverside, and Research Professor at University of California, Santa Barbara. Dr. Turner received his B.A in 1965 from UCSB and his M.A in 1966 and Ph.D. in 1968 from Cornell University. Although he is primarily a sociological theorist, Jonathan H. Turner focuses on a biological analysis into sociology, and sociology to the general public. He is the author of 44 books and many research articles, all of which are listed below.
